My mom passed just 11 days ago. Grief comes in waves. Sometimes hitting like tidal waves. I never know when the tide will be high or low. If anyone is out there who is also grieving a loved one from LC, I would find comfort in communicating.
I also lost my Mom she was my best friend...I never thought I could take care of her to the end like I did but I promised she be in her own house and for that I have no regrets...She is with me all the time I can feel her here.
